The City of Brampton will allow property tax payment deferments for up to five months without interest or late fees as the global coronavirus pandemic spreads and more and more residents find themselves laid off as a result of increasing business closures. Today, the City of Brampton waived the interest and late fees on tax payments for the five-month period of March 18 to August 19, 2020, in response to COVID-19.
